Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Team Leader - SAP Node.js to drive development of cloud-based applications on SAP Business Technology Platform. You’ll blend hands-on Node.js expertise with leadership to guide a team of engineers and deliver scalable SAP-centric solutions.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, influence architectural decisions, and promote best practices in software development. The role emphasizes mentoring engineers, coordinating delivery, and contributing to CI/CD improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years SAP-related development experience (SAPUI5, BTP, HANA, CAP, Node.js).
• Proven experience in a Team Lead role, mentoring teams of 10+ engineers.
• Strong Node.js and JavaScript expertise.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.IO).
• Understanding of cloud architecture and microservices design principles.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, HANA, and SAP CAP (Java/Node.js).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SAP-related development, including SAPUI5, BTP, HANA, CAP, and Node.js
• Proven experience in a Team Lead role, managing and mentoring teams of 10+ engineers
• Strong expertise in Node.js and solid understanding of JavaScript
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.IO, or similar
• Good understanding of cloud architecture and microservices design principles
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience or knowledge of SAP BTP, HANA database, and SAP CAP (Java or Node.js)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
