Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking a Lead SAP ABAP Developer to drive innovation, proofs of concept, and governance across SAP S/4HANA projects. You will collaborate with architects and consultants to deliver high-quality ABAP solutions while promoting clean core development principles.

The role requires senior SAP ABAP/S4HANA experience, proficiency with RAP, CAP, Fiori/UI5, and OData, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Hybrid work is available with remote options within Poland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of SAP ABAP/S/4HANA development experience with a focus on innovation and prototyping.
• Expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and performance tuning.
• Experience with RAP and CAP.
• Proficiency in Fiori/UI5 and OData services.
• Knowledge of BTP extensibility and cloud integration including Event-Driven Architecture, APIs, and Event Mesh.
• Deep understanding of S/4HANA extensibility concepts including in-app, on-stack, and side-by-side.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, DevOps, and test automation in SAP environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication; ability to coordinate plans and performance improvements; English level B2.

Responsibilities

Requirements
