Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior software engineering lead to drive technical leadership across multiple project streams. You will guide architectural decisions, enforce coding standards, and coordinate cross-team dependencies while advancing AI tooling adoption and secure, cloud-native practices.

You will mentor engineers, participate in governance, and support sprint planning and risk management in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Deep expertise in at least two of the following: Kubernetes orchestration, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, OpenTelemetry, AI/ML
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or GoLang
• Proven experience managing cross-team technical dependencies in Agile environments
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
• Experience with cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong understanding of security practices including SIEM, mTLS, OIDC/JWT

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across multiple project workstreams
• Ensure consistency of technical standards, coding practices, and quality across teams
• Coordinate cross-team technical dependencies and integration points
• Support Delivery Manager in sprint planning, technical risk identification, and escalation resolution
• Drive AI tooling adoption plan across all workstreams (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, AI agent frameworks)
• Oversee open-source dependency upgrades and security vulnerability remediation
• Ensure technical documentation standards are maintained (SDDs, ADRs)
• Mentor Engineers across multiple project teams
• Participate in Sprint Reviews and governance meetings as technical authority
• Support transition planning with technical knowledge transfer coordination
