Job summary

Flex in Tczew is seeking a Tax Specialist to prepare data for tax declarations and ensure accuracy of tax postings for VAT, CIT, and local taxes.

You will support international SpinCo initiatives and collaborate with our Shared Services teams in India, while ensuring compliance with SOX controls. A higher education in finance or accounting and at least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing are required, along with very good English.

Qualifications

• Higher education in finance or accounting.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company.
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Knowledge of Polish tax law (VAT, CIT and local taxes).

Responsibilities

• Prepare data for tax declarations (VAT, CIT, local taxes and others).
• Check postings for tax compliance.
• Be responsible for tax settlements entries in accounts.
• Verify tax-related transaction planning compliance.
• Support accounts receivable and payable teams.
• Collaborate with Shared Services in India and supervise the activities.
• Coordinate with other departments.
• Adhere to SOX procedures within the company.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Rola Specjalisty ds. Podatków obejmuje przygotowywanie danych do deklaracji podatkowych.

Typowy dzień pracy obejmuje:

• przygotowywanie danych do deklaracji podatkowych (VAT, CIT, podatki lokalne i inne)
• sprawdzanie poprawności księgowań pod kątem zgodności z przepisami podatkowymi
• odpowiedzialność za zapisy na kontach dotyczące rozliczeń podatkowych
• weryfikację zgodności planowanych transakcji pod kątem podatkowym
• wspomaganie zespołów ds. należności i zobowiązań
• współpraca z działem usług wspólnych w Indiach w zakresie wykonywanych czynności oraz ich kontrola
• współpracę z innymi działami
• przestrzeganie procedur SOX (dotyczących wewnętrznej kontroli przepływów finansowych w firmie)

Umiejętności, których poszukujemy do naszego zespołu:

• wykształcenie wyższe w obszarze finansów/ księgowości
• minimum 3 lata doświadczenia na podobnym stanowisku w firmie produkcyjnej
• bardzo dobra znajomość języka angielskiego
• znajomość przepisów prawa polskiego w zakresie podatków VAT, CIT oraz podatków lokalnych
