Job summary

Valeo Kapec, a leading automotive tech player in Poland, seeks a System Validation Engineer to drive validation activities and support the development of powertrain systems, in a role embedded in a high-standard international environment.

Responsibilities include launching actuators, writing integration tests, and shaping ASPICE-compliant methods while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, safe mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar) required.
• Minimum 3 years in automotive/industrial system engineering.
• Proficiency with CAN/LIN protocols and Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape).
• Programming skills in CAPL and Python; fluent in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch of Smart Actuators & Powertrain System (eMotors, inverters, reducers, PLA).
• Develop and manage integration test scripts (functional & non-functional).
• Serve as the System Validation Engineer (Sys Val) for the team and support project staff.
• Conduct full validation/verification and participate in bug analysis/fix process.
• Shape R&D System Engineering Methodology according to ASPICE standards.

At the Valeo plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we manufacture powertrain systems that support fuel consumption reduction and lower emissions-including starters, air throttles, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, electromechanical actuators, and innovative electric drives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the launch of Smart Actuators & Powertrain System (eMotors, inverters, reducers, PLA).

Requirements:

• Degree: Engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar).
• Exp: 3+ years in Automotive/Industrial System Engineering .
• Lab Skills: Oscilloscope, multimeter, electrical circuit reading.
• Communication: CAN/LIN protocols & Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape).
• Programming languages: CAPL, Python.
• Languages: Fluent English & Polish.

Nice to have:

• Standards: ISO 26262, A-Spice, or AUTOSAR .
• Tools: LabView, DOORS , or Codebeamer .
