Job summary

T-Mobile Polska is seeking aSenior DevOps Engineer to secure and streamline GCP environments and delivery processes behind AIOps solutions. You will work across infrastructure, automation and live service support, focusing on repeatable infrastructure, safer releases and reducing manual effort.

You will build and maintain GCP infrastructure with Terraform, develop reusable configurations, and manage changes via code.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with GCP and Terraform.
• Experience operating production cloud services and delivering infrastructure changes through code.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git and Docker.
• Linux administration skills and the ability to automate tasks with Python, Bash or similar.
• Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain GCP infrastructure with Terraform and code changes.
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines for infra and app releases.
• Deploy and operate GCP services used by AIOps workloads (Cloud Run, Vertex AI, etc.).
• Support containerised applications and automation around AI/data pipelines.
• Monitor service health, investigate incidents and coordinate resolutions.
• Plan upgrades, patching and maintenance with testing and communication.
• Improve observability, runbooks and operational docs.
• Identify ways to improve reliability, cloud efficiency and cost.
• Collaborate with internal teams to keep the service useful and scalable.
• Take part in support and on-call arrangements as per service tier.

Build the foundations for dependable AIOps

Our shared operations service helps teams run and improve AIOps solutions. We’re looking for a senior DevOps engineer to make the GCP environments and delivery processes behind those solutions secure, reliable and straightforward to operate.

You’ll work across infrastructure, automation and live service support, partnering with software, AI and data specialists. The focus is on practical improvements: repeatable infrastructure, safer releases and less manual effort for the teams delivering AIOps capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain GCP infrastructure with Terraform, developing reusable configurations and managing changes through code.
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application releases.
• Deploy and operate the GCP services used by AIOps workloads, including Cloud Run, Vertex AI, BigQuery, Firestore, Pub/Sub, Dataflow and Cloud Storage.
• Support containerised applications and the automation around AI and data pipelines.
• Monitor service health, investigate incidents and coordinate resolution with the relevant teams.
• Plan upgrades, patching and maintenance with appropriate testing, communication and recovery procedures.
• Improve observability, alerting, runbooks and operational documentation.
• Look for ways to improve reliability, cloud efficiency and cost.
• Work with internal teams to keep the service useful, maintainable and ready to grow.
• Take part in support and on-call arrangements in line with the agreed service tier.

Our requirements:

• Strong, min 5 years of hands‑on experience with GCP and Terraform. Both are essential.
• Experience operating production cloud services and delivering infrastructure changes through code.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git and Docker.
• Linux administration skills and the ability to automate tasks with Python, Bash or similar.
• A sound understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security and monitoring.
• Calm, methodical troubleshooting skills and clear communication.
• A sense of ownership, balanced with the judgement to involve the right people when needed.
