BorgWarner in Kraków is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to own traction inverter functions across the product lifecycle, collaborating with software, hardware, and test teams to deliver advanced power electronics for modern EVs.

The role requires at least 2 years in automotive electronics, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and knowledge of ASPICE/ISO 26262, with fluent English and a hybrid work model.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive electronics development.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience applying Systems Engineering principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Experience with requirements engineering and requirements management.
• Understanding of embedded systems consisting of hardware and software components.
• Knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262.
• Experience with Polarion, DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English.

Job purpose

Join our Electrification Engineering team in Kraków and help shape the next generation of hybrid and electric vehicle propulsion systems.

As a Systems Development Engineer, you will own key traction inverter functions throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and requirements definition through implementation, validation, and production release.

You will work closely with global customers, software, hardware, and test teams to deliver advanced power electronics solutions used in modern electric and hybrid vehicles.

What we're looking for

Recruitment process
