Job summary

RSB Automotive Consulting is seeking a Senior System Engineer in Kraków to join a team developing advanced automotive systems for electrified vehicles. The role offers hybrid work with a possible remote option for exceptional candidates and involves collaboration across Hardware, Software, Calibration, Test, and Functional Safety teams.

You will define and manage system requirements, develop system concepts, and drive root cause analysis while contributing to ISO 26262 Functional Safety

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in System Engineering within the automotive industry.
• Experience with automotive electronic systems, power electronics, EV, or related technologies.
• Strong understanding of system development processes: requirements engineering, system architecture, integration, verification, and validation.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and drive root cause analysis activities.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety principles (ISO 26262) is an advantage.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Very good command of English.

System Engineer (Automotive)

Kraków / Hybrid (remote option possible for exceptional candidates)

RSB Automotive Consulting is supporting one of our clients from the automotive industry in expanding their engineering team. We are looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer to join projects focused on the development of advanced systems for electric and electrified vehicles.

Within this position, there are several possible specialization paths within System Engineering, including:

• System Functions Engineering – development and definition of system functions, creation of system concepts, requirements management, and close cooperation with Hardware, Software, Test, and Functional Safety teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• System Infrastructure Engineering – development of system infrastructure elements, including functions related to power supply, microcontroller safety mechanisms, and system architecture for advanced automotive electronic systems.
• System Problem Solving Engineering – investigation of technical issues, defect analysis, root cause identification, and definition of system-level solutions supported by laboratory, HiL, and vehicle-level testing.
