Job summary

ADTRAN, Inc. is seeking a System Verification Engineer II for the SVT ETH team in Gdynia. You will verify hardware and software solutions, including Carrier Ethernet and access/aggregation routers and switches, ahead of deployments in operator networks.

Join a hands-on role combining network engineering, lab work, troubleshooting and automation. You will collaborate with R&D and support teams across Europe and the US, using carrier-grade equipment and traffic generators to ensure robust,

Qualifications

Two years in network testing, system or integration testing.
Degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
Solid Ethernet and TCP/IP knowledge; hands-on routing/switching on major vendor platforms.
Excellent written and spoken English (B2).
Ability to design test scenarios, read logs and packet captures, and narrow down complex failures.
Working knowledge of Linux and the command line.

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and turn them into test plans and test cases.
Build and maintain complex test topologies and lab infrastructure.
Run system-level, end-to-end, interoperability, regression and customer-specific tests.
Combine manual and automated testing, and automate where it adds value.
Report defects, narrow down root causes and verify fixes with developers.
Document test procedures, configurations and results in the test management system.
Improve test coverage, tools and ways of working, and share knowledge with colleagues.
