Job summary

Adtran Networks in Gdynia is looking for an entry-level System Verification Engineer I to join our SVT ETH team. You will learn how carrier-grade routers and switches are verified before deployment in operators' networks, building test setups and executing tests.

Under mentoring from experienced engineers, you will grow into test automation with Python and Robot Framework, contributing to fault analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement of test processes in a collaborative lab

Qualifications

• Degree (or final year) in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or related field.
• Basic understanding of computer networks: OSI, Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP.
• Basic Linux and command-line skills; quick learner.
• Analytical mindset and curiosity about how things work.
• Proficient written and spoken English (at least B2).
• Willingness to learn and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Learn products, test processes, and lab environment.
• Build and configure test setups with ADTRAN and third-party gear.
• Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end tests against test plans.
• Analyze results and logs, report defects clearly.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects and verify fixes.
• Document test procedures and results in the test management system.
• Develop own test cases and automated tests in Python and Robot Framework.
