Job summary

Adtran, Inc. is seeking a System Verification Test (SVT) engineer in Gdynia. You will build and automate lab tests for optical transport products and work hands-on with real hardware, while leveraging AI to speed up testing and analysis. The role offers hybrid work with onboarding by SVT engineers.

You will plan end-to-end scenarios, write test cases, and collaborate with development to reproduce and resolve defects as the product evolves.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, CS, or Physics.
• Experience in testing, validation, or hands-on engineering roles.
• Scripting or programming skills in any language.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to work in international teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain lab test setups including network elements and optics.
• Plan and run end-to-end test scenarios from the customer perspective.
• Automate tests and lab tasks with Python, Robot Framework, Jenkins.
• Use AI tools to speed up test case creation, analysis, and documentation.
• Investigate defects and coordinate with development to fix them.
• Document test results and defect reports in the test management system.
• Propose improvements to test processes and lab setups.
• Learn new technologies as the product evolves.
