ADTRAN is hiring an entry-level System Verification Engineer I for the SVT ETH team in Gdynia. You will learn carrier-grade router and switch verification, build test setups, run tests, and report issues with mentorship from seasoned engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science or related field
• Basic understanding of OSI, Ethernet, IP addressing
• Basic Linux and command-line skills
• Fluent in English (B2)
• Willingness to learn and be a team player
• Nice to have Cisco CCNA or similar training

Responsibilities

• Learn products, test processes, and lab environment.
• Build and configure test setups with ADTRAN and third-party equipment.
• Execute functional, regression and end-to-end tests per plans.
• Analyze results and report defects clearly in the bug tracker.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects and verify fixes.
• Document test procedures and results in the test management system.
• Develop test cases and automated tests in Python and Robot Framework.
