Digest is seeking a passionate Sustainability Developer to lead sustainability initiatives and integrate them within the business. In this role, you will work closely with supply chain stakeholders to manage sustainability data and assist in setting goals for sustainable actions.
Key responsibilities include developing sustainability plans with suppliers, facilitating training sessions, and driving sustainability projects. A university degree in a related field and strong analytical skills are required for this position. This role aims to positively impact sustainability efforts across the organization.

As a Sustainability developer you will contribute to ensure that the IKEA sustainability agenda is an integrated part of our business and stakeholder development. You will work closely with various stakeholders in the supply chain where you will have the responsibility to secure collection, verification, aggregation, and reporting of sustainability data. Together with our Business teams, you will set priorities and goals for both internal and external stakeholders to execute sustainability actions and priorities. You will also support our suppliers to continuously identify new sustainability-related business opportunities applicable in the region, in connection with the IKEA Sustainability strategy.

As a Sustainability Developer, you will stay informed about global and local sustainability trends and understand their impact on our business. You will proactively search for new sustainable business opportunities and bring them to life by inspiring and guiding others. Motivating and coaching people to achieve positive sustainability changes in line with IKEA’s goals and Sustainability Strategy will be a key part of your role. You will need to understand how different supply chains work and find ways to create and lead sustainable projects. Importantly, you will always prioritize sustainability and the end customer when making decisions.
