Standard Chartered is seeking a skilled professional to drive the MAR Trade Surveillance strategy for Surveillance Effectiveness & Data. The role emphasizes designing and reviewing scenarios, BRD development, and data sourcing to strengthen market abuse risk detection across products.

You will collaborate with BAU, Change, and Technology teams to ensure data quality and effective surveillance outcomes, with emphasis on cross-asset coverage and robust data feeds.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in financial services or data-driven risk environments.
• Good understanding of trade surveillance concepts and market abuse risks, with hands-on exposure to scenario design and surveillance effectiveness reviews, particularly cross-product.
• Experience with financial market datasets and data onboarding/validation.

Aufgaben

• Complete surveillance effectiveness reviews and assess cross product scenarios.
• Design BRDs for automated surveillance and new scenarios to mitigate residual risks.
• Document Market Data requirements and enhance feeds for cross product correlation matrices.
• Align risk characteristics with scenario design for optimal logic effectiveness.
• Lead UAT for newly designed cross product scenarios.
• Work with data teams to ensure data quality controls and appropriate CDEs.
