Job summary

Standard Chartered is recruiting for a role supporting the Head of MAR Trade Surveillance and the Lead of Surveillance Monitoring. You will oversee risk assessments, design and test surveillance scenarios, calibrate system functionalities, and analyze data to drive timely actions.

The role involves collaboration across analytics, calibration teams, and regulatory reviews. The ideal candidate has 5–6 years in MAR surveillance, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent English communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a MAR detective surveillance role.
• Strong understanding of Market Abuse regulations is essential.
• Experience in design, testing, calibration of surveillance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide challenge and oversight over Market Abuse Risk Assessment and Surveillance scenario mappings.
• Assist with design and testing of new Surveillance scenarios and change requests.
• Assist with design and testing of new Surveillance system functionalities.
• Review proposed changes to scenario thresholds with supporting data.
• Collaborate with Surveillance Analytics, Optimisation and Calibration teams on calibration methods.
• Deliver training on new products and surveillance scenarios to the BAU team.
