Job summary

Mitaka Europe is seeking a Clinical Application Engineer — Surgical Visualization to connect advanced optics with surgeons in the operating room. You will plan and run clinical demonstrations, provide technical and clinical after-sales support, and represent the company at international medical events while leading training at our Training Centre.

This role requires an engineering background (biomedical, mechatronics, or related), a willingness to travel over 50% of the time, fluent English, and

Qualifications

• Engineering background in biomedical, mechatronics, or related field.
• Willing to travel more than 50% of the time and spend weeks on site with clients.
• Fluent English for daily communication with surgeons and team.
• Strong people skills: build relationships, listen, and explain technical detail in a fast-paced OR environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run clinical equipment demonstrations directly in operating theatres.
• Provide technical and clinical after-sales support to surgeons.
• Represent us at international medical events and lead training at our in-house Training Centre.
