Job summary

GFT Technologies Poland is seeking a Kubernetes Platform Reliability Engineer to help ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our internal Kubernetes platform used by teams worldwide. You will diagnose issues, support deployments, and contribute to platform resilience.

Your role includes on-call rotation, weekend support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize automation and operations from Kraków in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, operations, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
Experience with Unix/Linux administration.
Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Openness to work hybrid from Kraków office 6 days a month.
Participating in on call rotation.

Responsibilities

Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of the Kubernetes platform.
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues.
Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Kubernetes environments.
Troubleshoot incidents, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement reliability improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform resilience.
Monitor systems and analyze logs and performance dashboards.
Contribute to infrastructure automation and platform optimization.
Participate in an on-call rotation and provide weekend support.
