Job summary

HeadHR in Kraków is seeking an experienced Senior Kubernetes Engineer to join an engineering team responsible for supporting and maintaining an internal Kubernetes platform used by multiple development teams.

You will focus on reliability, availability and performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive automation and IaC initiatives while collaborating with infrastructure, engineering and application teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of IT experience.
3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes administration experience.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, operations and troubleshooting.
Good knowledge of containers and orchestration.
Experience with Unix/Linux administration.
Understanding of ITIL processes, particularly Incident, Problem and Change Management.
Experience with automation and/or Infrastructure as Code.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with logs and metrics.
Good communication and cross-team collaboration.
Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation, including weekends.
Fluent English and Polish.

Responsibilities

Support deployment, configuration and maintenance of the Kubernetes platform.
Ensure reliability, availability and performance of the infrastructure platform.
Diagnose and resolve Kubernetes infrastructure issues and incidents.
Perform root cause analysis and implement stability improvements.
Analyse logs, monitoring data and performance metrics to identify issues.
Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering and application teams.
Support automation and infrastructure improvements, including Infrastructure as Code.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including weekend support.

Join an engineering team responsible for supporting and maintaining an internal Kubernetes platform used by multiple development teams. You will focus on ensuring the platform remains reliable, available, and performant, while troubleshooting incidents and continuously improving its stability and automation.

The role combines Kubernetes administration, platform support, troubleshooting and reliability engineering in a large-scale enterprise environment.

You will

Support the deployment, configuration and maintenance of the Kubernetes platform.
Ensure the reliability, availability and performance of the infrastructure platform.
Diagnose and resolve Kubernetes infrastructure issues, incidents and integration failures.
Perform root cause analysis and implement improvements to increase platform stability.
Analyse logs, monitoring data and performance metrics to identify potential issues
Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering and application teams to resolve technical problems.
Support automation and infrastructure improvements, including Infrastructure as Code
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including weekend support.
