Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Kraków is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Team Lead to manage a team of Buyers and Senior Buyers delivering global procurement services. You will report to the Global Supply Chain Operations Manager and work in a hybrid model with two days in the office.

The role requires 5 years in supply chain, leadership skills, and fluency in English; SAP/ARIBA experience is highly valued. Competitive base salary plus incentive potential is offered.

Qualifications

• BA in Supply Chain, Business or similar.
• 5 years supply chain experience; team leadership experience is a plus.
• Ability to lead a team and provide guidance.
• Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.
• SAP knowledge for daily management.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork.
• Proficient use of SAP, ARIBA, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the performance management process working with Employees to develop, monitor, and review Employees work performance.
• Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations of the team.
• Monitor the team's activities to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and supports both internal and external customers.
• Manage quality of delivery and service level agreements that meet the needs of the Departments.
• Monitor metrics for the team's performance and meeting goals.
• Report activities and track indicators.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure that a professional manner is maintained with customers.
• Monitor internal procurement systems and processes and ensure compliance across the organization.
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with internal and external contacts as appropriate.
• Analyze, identify and address important issues within the team and report team results and manage change proactively.

Supply Chain Operations Team Lead

To strengthen our Supply Chain Management team, we are looking for experienced candidates for the position Supply Chain Operations Team Lead. Seize this unique opportunity to take an active part in shaping our new GBS centre and grow together with the developing organization.

You will manage a team of Buyers and Senior Buyers that will provide procurement services globally for Westinghouse. You will report to the Global Supply Chain Operations Manager and be located at Kraków. You will work in a hybrid model, with two days per week spent in the office.

Qualifications

• BA in Supply Chain, Business or similar
• 5 years supply chain experience, experience managing a team will be an advantage
• Ability to lead a team of personnel by providing leadership, assistance and advice
• Fluency (written and spoken) in English required and a written and spoken fluency in ( French, German, Spanish, Swedish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Bulgarian) preferred. Language ability is critical when working with suppliers and company partners.
• Knowledge of SAP for the day-to-day management of resource management, time reporting and expense reporting.
• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills required
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and proactively identify and solve issues
• Experience in making decisions
• Demonstrated leadership ability and teamwork
• Proficient use of SAP, ARIBA, Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint is desirable

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 11,416 to 14,266 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
