Senior Procurement Engineer
Location: Krakow, MA, PL, 30-701
This hybrid position requires up to 20% travel.
Responsibilities
- Procurement Execution
- Complete procurement activities across assigned scopes from pre-PO through delivery
- Manage daily supplier execution to meet schedule, quality, and technical requirements
- Track progress, identify issues, and lead resolution
- Supplier Performance & Risk Management
- Monitor supplier performance, including capability, capacity, and manufacturing readiness
- Identify and elevate risks affecting delivery
- Support implementation of corrective actions to maintain commitments
- Technical & Regulatory Integration
- Understand and communicate technical, safety‑related, and nuclear quality requirements (ASME, NQA‑1)
- Support preparation and review of safety‑related requisitions
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and company procedures
- Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Work with Engineering, Quality, Commercial, and SPE to support execution
- Coordinate requirements and resolve issues affecting procurement activities
- Support project planning, estimates, and execution readiness
- Sourcing & Commercial Support
- Support RFx execution, including supplier engagement, bid evaluation, and clarification
- Help source strategies with care for project needs
- Contribute to commercial evaluations and negotiations
- Cost & Value Management
- Support cost analysis and identification of cost drivers
- Help implement total cost of ownership improvements
- Purchase Order & Contract Execution
- Manage assigned PO lifecycle activities (placement, tracking, changes, and issue resolution)
- Support resolution of invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable
- Supplier Relationship Support
- Maintain working relationships with suppliers to support execution
- Act as a contact for supplier coordination on assigned scopes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Nuclear preferred) or Supply Chain
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, engineering, or project execution within a regulated/industrial environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Nuclear or regulated industry experience
- Experience supporting supplier execution and contract management
- Familiarity with ASME and NQA‑1 requirements
- Familiarity with SAP, PowerBI, SharePoint
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications/tools
Compensation
Gross base salary range: 11,416 to 14,266 PLN per month. Incentive pay may be eligible based on company and individual performance.
