Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Supplier Relationship Specialist to build and maintain a supplier network supporting Services & Solutions. You will work with suppliers and cross-functional teams in a hybrid role based in Katowice or Gdansk, Poland.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in supplier relationship management, strong English, Excel and SAP, and a focus on continuous improvement. This role emphasizes risk management, performance metrics, and collaboration across the supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Materials Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supplier relationship management, procurement, or related field.
  • Native or fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SAP experience.
  • Experience with lean methodologies or other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, procurement processes, and performance metrics.
  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or similar certification.

  • Monitor supplier performance through key metrics such as delivery, quality, cost, and responsiveness, and support corrective action and improvement plans when needed.
  • Identify and mitigate supplier‑related risks and supply chain disruptions to help ensure business continuity and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive process improvements, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Analyze supplier and supply chain data, prepare performance reports, and contribute to sourcing and supplier management strategies.

As a Supplier Relationship Specialist, you will help build and maintain a supplier network that supports our Services & Solutions business. You will work closely with suppliers and cross‑functional stakeholders to improve supplier performance, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain. You will join the Services & Solutions Supply Chain team and partner with colleagues across Engineering, IT, Finance, Customer Care, and Regional Service Delivery. You will report to the Manager, EMEA S&S Sourcing & Supply, and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice or Gdansk, Poland.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with assigned suppliers, serving as a primary point of contact for supplier engagement and issue resolution.

The Essentials - You Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Materials Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or a related technical discipline.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supplier relationship management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Native or fluent in English
  • Proficiency in Excel and Experience with supplier relationship management software.
  • Experience with lean methodologies or other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • SAP experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, procurement processes, and performance metrics.
  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or similar certification.
