Job summary

OPmobility SE in Gliwice, Poland, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to oversee supplier quality programs within the Exterior & Lighting group. The role focuses on APQP/PPAP leadership, validation of part quality, and ensuring on-time launches.

You will drive supplier development, manage PDCA actions, and lead Run@Rate and supplier audits, while collaborating across teams to uphold quality and process excellence. English at upper-intermediate level is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in automotive Supplier Quality or Program Quality.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, and 8D.
• Experience with supplier development and quality management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality validation.
• Run@Rate experience and supplier audits (VDA 6.3 is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence and challenge suppliers.
• Good communication and teamwork; English upper-intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP and PPAP activities with suppliers.
• Ensure on-time PPAP approval and launch readiness.
• Monitor APQP deliverables and project milestones.
• Validate part quality, appearance, and measurement results.
• Drive supplier risk management and corrective actions.
• Manage PDCA action plans with suppliers.
• Lead Run@Rate activities and supplier audits.
• Support build trials, mountability, and packaging validation.
• Ensure effective change management.
• Support continuous improvement and lessons learned.
