Job summary

Worldline is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to define and implement integrity risk measures, focusing on AML, KYC, and scheme compliance. You will draft work instructions, handle onboarding escalations, and contribute to risk assessments across the merchant portfolio to ensure the highest standards of integrity risk management.

You will also lead training sessions, oversee QC processes, and communicate risk factors to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training sessions for internal stakeholders.
• Handle onboarding escalations for merchants deviating from standard onboarding flow.
• Contribute to pre-onboarding risk assessments with comprehensive feedback.
• Manage CDD and scheme-related escalations.
• Oversee merchant portfolio for quality assurance and risk mitigation.
• Lead QC process and address findings with stakeholders; train analysts as needed.
• Communicate statuses, risks, and issues to senior management and Financial Crime Compliance.

The opportunity

As a Subject Matter Expert, you are at the forefront of defining and implementing integrity risk measures, especially in the domains of scheme, AML, and KYC. You'll play a key role in drafting work instructions, handling various onboarding and ODD escalations, and more, ensuring that the company and our merchants adhere to the highest standards of integrity risk management.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and maintain work instructions to ensure top-notch integrity risk compliance;
• Interpret any changes or updates in integrity (scheme, AML, KYC) rules and provide assistance to relevant stakeholders;
• Facilitate training sessions for the internal stakeholders;
• Handling onboarding escalations for the Merchants deviating from standard onboarding flow;
• Take part in pre-onboarding risk assessments and provide a comprehensive feedback;
• Manage various CDD and scheme related escalations;
• Oversee the Merchant portfolio, ensuring quality assurance and risk mitigation;
• Lead the QC process, address findings to relevant stakeholders and provide additional training to mitigate the gaps in analysts’ knowledge
• Assist in the communication of statuses, risks, and issues to senior management and Financial Crime Compliance
• Be an active part of a collaborative team environment;

Who Are We Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in risk management, compliance or a related area, preferably within the payment industry;
• A deep understanding of AML regulations, payment schemes standards and principles of transaction monitoring;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically; tendency towards a holistic approach to things;
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks;
• Team player with exemplary communication skills;
