Job summary

Care Access in Poland is seeking an experienced Study Nurse to conduct delegated clinical tasks and monitor research participants in accordance with Good Clinical Practices and the study protocol.

You will perform phlebotomy, insert IV catheters, and manage Investigational Product while communicating with the Principal Investigator to ensure compliance, safety, and quality across all study activities.

Qualifications

  • Active nursing licensure and registered status in Poland.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Phlebotomy and IV catheter skills.
  • Clinical Research experience preferred.

The Study Nurse conducts delegated clinical tasks and monitoring of research participants in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP), ensuring protocol and regulatory compliance.

  • Participant Care, Monitoring & Clinical Assessments
    • Clinical Monitoring of participants, per protocol. This may include monitoring vital signs, cardiac rhythm strips, pulse oximetry, etc.
    • Monitoring of participant for adverse reactions.
    • Conduct delegated clinical procedures as required per protocol.
    • Treat patients with standing orders for anaphylactic reactions.
    • Communicate regularly with the Principal Investigator (PI).
  • Clinical Procedures, Phlebotomy & Specimen Management
    • Perform phlebotomy and insert IV catheters, as required.
    • Process and ship labs (independently or with limited supervision).
    • Performing electrocardiograms (independently or with limited supervision).
  • Investigational Product (IP) Management
    • Preparation and administration of Investigational Product (IP; study drug).
    • Receipt and proper storage of investigational products.
    • Maintain Investigational Product records in accordance with regulations and sponsor requirements.
    • Maintain the blind of all study products where required.
    • Maintain proper storage, security and temperature for all medications and investigational products.
  • Regulatory Compliance, Quality & Safety
    • Comply with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
    • Comply with Safety and PPE standards.
    • Maintain appropriate research training and nursing licensure in good standing.
  • Study Team Collaboration & Operational Support
    • Attend and participate in meetings with direct manager and study team.
    • Communicate regularly with the Principal Investigator (PI).
    • Maintain a clean work area.

  • Location: Onsite within Poland
  • Travel: Minimal (<10%), planned in advance.
  • Physical Requirements:Walking -15%, Standing - 10%, Sitting - 70%, Lifting up to, over, and overhead 25 lbs - 5%

The expected pay range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000 PLN per year for full time team members.
