Job summary

Velux Deutschland Gmbh is seeking a Team Leader, Strategic Sourcing, to lead an international team and own key categories across Poland and Denmark. You will drive sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and end-to-end procurement processes in a manufacturing environment.

You will build strong supplier relations, manage indirect and direct spend, and advance sustainability and digitalisation initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams; fluency in English is essential for this

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• Extensive strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience.
• Leadership experience in an international or matrix organisation.
• Proven supplier negotiations, category strategy development, and contract management.
• Experience managing direct and indirect spend categories.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop an international team of Strategic Buyers across Poland and Denmark.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives across direct and indirect spend categories.
• Own key sourcing categories and manage end-to-end sourcing activities.
• Develop category strategies focused on cost, quality, innovation, and sustainability.
• Negotiate agreements and build long-term supplier relationships.
• Manage indirect spend, including services, non-production materials, and software.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Sustainability.
• Identify supply risks and ensure business continuity.
• Drive digitalisation and sourcing excellence across the organisation.
• Support sustainability ambitions through responsible sourcing practices.
