Job summary

ASC Global in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to hunt down hard-to-find components, build supplier relationships, and support fast-moving global distribution operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electronic components sourcing, a strong network of suppliers, and proven negotiation skills to secure favorable terms while coordinating with sales and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in electronic components sourcing or procurement.
• Proven track record of hunting down hard-to-find, short lead-time, and allocated components.
• Existing network of suppliers and industry contacts built through hands-on experience in the space.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin language skills a plus.
• Legal right to work in Poland without company visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Source electronic components across global supplier networks, open-market and franchised suppliers.
• Hunt down hard-to-find, obsolete, and allocated components under tight deadlines.
• Identify availability, lead times, and pricing across a global supplier base.
• Build and maintain relationships with a global network of suppliers and manufacturers.
• Collaborate with sales teams to fulfill customer requirements quickly and accurately.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure the best outcomes.
• Track market trends, shortages, allocations, and pricing fluctuations.
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activity in company systems.
• Collaborate with purchasing, quality, and operations teams to ensure order fulfillment.
• Respond quickly to time-sensitive sourcing requests in a fast-paced environment.

As we continue to grow our global operations, we are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our office in Warsaw, Poland - hunting down hard-to-find components, building supplier relationships, and playing an active role in the fast-moving world of independent distribution.

What You'll Be Doing

• Source electronic components across global supplier networks, including open-market and franchised suppliers
• Hunt down hard-to-find, obsolete, and allocated components under tight deadlines
• Identify availability, lead times, and pricing for requested parts across a global supplier base
• Build and maintain relationships with a global network of suppliers and manufacturers

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of sourcing activity in the company's systems

• Respond quickly to time-sensitive sourcing requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

What We're Looking For

• 3–10 years of experience specifically in electronic components sourcing or procurement within the independent distribution industry
• A proven track record of hunting down hard-to-find, short lead-time, and allocated components
• An existing network of suppliers and industry contacts built through hands-on experience in the space
• The mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, deadline-driven environment
• Strong negotiation skills and a resourceful, problem-solving approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Mandarin is a huge plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with CRM, ERP, or sourcing/reporting systems
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Must have the legal right to work inPoland without company visa sponsorship; relocation support may be considered for the right candidate
