Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Poland to source materials and services for manufacturing, negotiate terms, and manage supplier relationships using SAP. The role focuses on cost-effective procurement while ensuring quality and delivery to support production and new product launches.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in Purchasing or Supply Chain, with SAP and advanced Excel skills, plus fluent German and English. Automotive experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• SAP proficiency and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent German and English.
• Strong supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships for assigned categories.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve best commercial outcomes.
• Monitor supplier performance and mitigate supply risks.
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data in SAP.
• Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities through market and supplier analysis.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support production, new product launches, and supply chain initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and sustainability requirements.
