Job summary

ALTEN Polska is hiring for a senior purchasing role to lead procurement across projects, ensuring cost, quality and timing targets. You will drive supplier sourcing, negotiate terms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance.

The role requires a minimum of five years in purchasing, strong negotiation skills, and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. English fluency is essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, Quality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Procurement or Project Purchasing.
• Experience in Automotive industry; plastics manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of sourcing processes, supplier management and purchasing strategies.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, VMI and consignment stock is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead all purchasing activities within assigned projects, ensuring QCT targets.
• Drive supplier sourcing via RFQ, supplier selection, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with Commodity Buyers and cross-functional teams on sourcing strategies.
• Monitor supplier performance and mitigate risks in supply chain and production.
• Manage project-related purchase orders, supplier agreements, and payment schedules.
• Support program launches and supplier readiness for production.
• Lead escalation management for critical supplier issues.
