Job summary

Turnitin is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer (Poland Remote) to lead platform initiatives, improve reliability and drive cost efficiency across serverless and Kubernetes environments. This hands-on leadership role partners with senior engineers to translate strategic platform direction into scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

8–12+ years in infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering.
Experience operating serverless and Kubernetes environments at scale.
Proven track record improving reliability and reducing operational toil.
Experience collaborating closely with multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across DevOps initiatives and platform engineering.
Design and deliver platform capabilities in serverless AWS workloads and Kubernetes (EKS).
Improve CI/CD, observability, and deployment safety.
Mentor senior engineers and guide design reviews.
Drive reliability improvements and reduce toil.
