Turnitin is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead our DevOps organization. This hands-on leadership role partners with senior engineers to translate platform strategy into scalable, reliable infrastructure across serverless AWS workloads and Kubernetes (EKS).
You will guide engineering practices, drive improvements in reliability, cost efficiency, and delivery velocity, mentor staff, and shape deployment automation, observability, and platform UX across teams.

We are seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to serve as a technical leader within our DevOps organization.
This role partners closely with other senior technical leaders to translate strategic platform direction into reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly infrastructure capabilities. The Principal will lead the technical execution of platform initiatives, elevate engineering standards, and drive measurable improvements in reliability, cost efficiency, and delivery velocity.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will design and implement platform capabilities across our serverless and Kubernetes environments, guide senior engineers, and influence engineering practices across teams.
The expected annual base salary range for this position is: PLN 308,025/year to PLN 513,375/year. This position is bonus eligible. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if extended, and is determined by work location and a range of other relevant factors, including but not limited to: experience, skills, degrees, licensures, certifications, and other job‑related factors. Internal equity, market and organizational factors are also considered.
