Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Warszawa is seeking a Space Planning Analyst to manage store floorplan productivity and provide data-driven recommendations for space reallocations. You’ll assess regional opportunities, improve DNA profiles, and influence partners with actionable insights.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years in retail space planning or related areas, with strong Excel and BI skills. On-site in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Merchandising or Operations.
• 3-5 years of total experience.
• Experience in retail space planning or store design preferred.
• Experience in retail merchandising, store management, buying or inventory management is a plus.
• Experience utilizing JDA Intactix Suite -Space, Floor, IKB.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience using a business intelligence platform.
• Proficient in MS Excel required; some VBA skills preferred.
• In depth knowledge of Space and Layout practices.
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Strong communication both verbal and written.
• Strong Negotiation and Influence skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop store-specific seasonal/quarterly overview floorplans in support of financial plans.
• Create ad-hoc analysis to react to current and future business trends and adjust overview plans.
• Coordinate with space and floor planning teams to ensure plans are complete for new stores and remodels; create forecast heat maps.
• Analyze performance metrics to drive sales and improve store productivity; surface risks and opportunities.
• Influence business partners by presenting sound analyses and impacts.
• Support the Manager of Space Planning with ad hoc projects; deliver actionable analyses.
