Job summary

Ecolab, Inc. is seeking a seasoned finance professional to provide strategic finance partnering for Europe’s F&B and CID Lines divisions.

You will lead initiatives to boost market growth and profitability through pricing, investments and margin improvements, and you will present to senior leaders to support planning and reviews. A hybrid work model and relocation support for international candidates are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial finance, forecasting, planning and financial management reporting in a multinational company.
• Understanding of how business decisions impact financial performance and accounting processes.
• Ability to drive understanding of financial decisions with non-finance stakeholders.

Job description

What You Will Do:

• Provide strategic finance partnering to sales, finance and functions leaders (Marketing, Supply Chain etc.) for the Europe CEE legacy F&B business, and CID Lines for Eastern Europe.
• Lead initiatives to improve market growth and profitability: Revenue and innovation growth, pricing strategy, capital investment plan and gross margin improvement actions
• Communicate and influence across business partners, incl. Ecolab functions, market leaders, Supply Chain and others on various business and financial matters
• Prepare presentation materials to support Sr. Leadership (VP Finance, VP Sales, VP Marketing) in business planning, strategic review meetings and monthly financial reviews
• Drive special projects, process improvement and analysis for wider division as required
• Support in the areas of planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis

What You Will Need:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in commercial finance, forecasting, planning, and financial management reporting in a multinational company
• Good knowledge of the business decisions effect on financial performance, accounting processes in industry as well as business understanding behind the financial numbers.
• Ability to work cross functionally, driving understanding of financial decisions and impacts with non-finance stakeholders
• Good knowledge in the area of revenue, pricing, margin, etc.
• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting. If undergraduate studies are not in Finance, an accounting certification (ACCA, CIMA) in progress or completed preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to organize and synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful analysis
• Excellent excel modelling skills
• A self-motivated and high energy individual that thrives in an environment characterized by growth, change and opportunity
• Team player attitude, ability to adapt to complex situations
• English fluency mandatory and strong communication skills.
