Qualifications

• 12+ years in data governance or related disciplines with strong leadership.
• Proven ability to define and implement enterprise governance strategies.
• Experience leading governance across complex, multi-business or international orgs.
• Deep knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, quality, metadata and MDM.
• Familiar with analytics, BI and AI data governance needs.
• Experience in regulated environments; pharma or life sciences exposure a plus.
• Knowledge of data platforms, cloud environments and data cataloguing tools.
• Ability to align business strategy with regulatory expectations in governance.
• Proven leadership, executive stakeholder engagement and cross-functional influence.
• Excellent communication and fluent English for international teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data governance direction and long-term development plan.
• Establish organization-wide governance model with roles and escalation paths.
• Advise senior management on data priorities, risks and governance maturity.
• Oversee data quality, metadata, master data management and governance standards.
• Define controls to ensure data reliability, transparency and accountability.
• Set governance for reporting, BI and AI, ensuring traceability and control.
• Lead the data governance function and build cross-functional capabilities.
