Aptiv Kraków seeks an experienced Category Buyer for Plastic Components to develop and execute strategic purchasing plans for current and new parts. You will lead supplier selection, negotiate terms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet cost, quality, and timing targets.

You will monitor supplier performance, analyze market trends, and drive risk mitigation. The role requires a Master’s degree and 3–5 years in procurement, with strong communication and English language skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in commercial or technical field.
• 3–5 years of purchasing experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• High interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal guidance.
• Strategic planning and execution.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• English speaking.

Responsibilities

• Negotiated commercial agreements with suppliers, driving cost reductions.
• Developed and managed supplier strategies, including selection and rationalization.
• Led RFQ and sourcing activities for new and ongoing programs.
• Created, negotiated, and maintained framework agreements compliant with SCM policies.

• Analyzed market trends, raw material costs, and currency fluctuations to optimize procurement.
