Phillips-Medisize, a Molex company, is building a European Center of Excellence for statutory reporting and tax. The Senior Specialist will own statutory reporting, lead audits, and drive governance improvements across multiple jurisdictions while mentoring junior staff.

You will work in a hybrid setup within a European team, partnering with Finance, Tax, Legal and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality financial compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and/or European local GAAP.
• Good SAP and financial systems knowledge.
• Experience with external auditors and tax advisors.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary owner for statutory reporting and compliance.
• Review and approve statutory reporting delivered by junior members.
• Support external audits by preparing deliverables and addressing auditor requests.
• Lead balance sheet reviews, reconciliations and issue resolution.
• Drive improvements to internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with stakeholders.

Statutory & Tax Reporting Senior Specialist

As a Statutory Reporting & Tax Senior Specialist, you support statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit activities for Molex entities across Europe. You contribute to high-quality financial compliance processes while developing expertise across multiple jurisdictions.

Our Team

You will be a part of new European Center of Excellence, hosted by Phillips-Medisize Poland, supporting statutory reporting, tax compliance, controllership, audit coordination and governance activities for entities across Europe.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the primary owner for statutory reporting and compliance activities across assigned entities.
• Review and approve statutory reporting deliverables prepared by junior team members.
• Support external statutory audits by preparing audit deliverables, responding to auditor requests and assisting with the timely resolution of audit findings
• Manage complex accounting and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support corporate income tax compliance and review taxation-related reporting requirements.
• Lead balance sheet reviews, reconciliations and issue-resolution activities.
• Drive improvements to internal controls, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Act as subject matter expert for statutory reporting and local regulatory requirements.
• Assist with accounting projects, business integrations, process transitions and statutory reporting initiatives as required.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Build strong partnerships with Finance, Tax, Legal and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of the European Statutory & Tax Center of Excellence by sharing knowledge, supporting best practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and/or European local GAAP frameworks
• Strong understanding of statutory reporting, tax compliance and governance requirements
• Good SAP and financial systems knowledge
• Experience working with external auditors and tax advisors
• Fluent in Polish and English, both oral and written

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience supporting multiple European jurisdictions
• Experience with process transformation, migrations or shared service environments
• Ability to influence stakeholders across functions and geographies
• Mentoring or team leadership experience
• Knowledge of an additional European language (e.g., German, French, Italian or other European languages) would be considered an asset
