Molex is seeking a Statutory Reporting Controller to support statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit activities and controllership for Molex entities across Europe. You will contribute to high-quality financial compliance processes while developing expertise across multiple jurisdictions.

Based in Poland, you will join a European Center of Excellence hosted by Phillips-Medisize Poland, supporting statutory reporting, tax compliance, controllership and governance activities for entities across

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Experience in accounting or reporting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS or local GAAP.
• Good system knowledge.
• Basic VAT and tax knowledge.
• Fluent in English and Polish, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review annual statutory financial statements and disclosures.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet for entities with US GAAP and local reporting.
• Prepare, analyze and review US GAAP reporting packages.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L reviews, investigate variances and risks.
• Act as a contact for US GAAP accounting matters and policy application.
• Support external statutory audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Prepare VAT, Intrastat and other indirect tax filings.
• Provide information for corporate income tax returns and tax compliance.
• Support close activities, reconciliations and internal controls documentation.
• Identify process improvements and cross-border reporting initiatives.

Your Job

As a Statutory Reporting Controller, you support statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit activities and controllership for Molex entities across Europe. You contribute to high-quality financial compliance processes while developing expertise across multiple jurisdictions.

Our Team

You will be a part of new European Center of Excellence, hosted by Phillips-Medisize Poland, supporting statutory reporting, tax compliance, controllership, audit coordination and governance activities for entities across Europe.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and review annual statutory financial statements and supporting disclosures in accordance with local statutory requirements and reporting deadlines.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet for assigned legal entities, ensuring accurate, complete and timely US GAAP and local statutory reporting.
• Prepare, analyze and review monthly, quarterly and annual US GAAP reporting packages, ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies and reporting requirements.
• Perform detailed balance sheet and profit & loss reviews, investigating variances, identifying risks and ensuring reported results accurately reflect business activities and expected future developments.
• Act as a key point of contact for US GAAP accounting matters, supporting the consistent application of accounting policies and assisting with technical accounting questions.
• Support external statutory audits by preparing audit deliverables, responding to auditor requests and assisting with the timely resolution of audit findings.
• Prepare and submit government, regulatory and statistical reports in compliance with local requirements.
• Prepare VAT, Intrastat and other indirect tax filings, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with local regulations.
• Provide financial information, reconciliations and supporting documentation required for corporate income tax returns and other direct tax compliance activities.
• Support account reconciliations, balance sheet substantiation and period-end close activities, ensuring issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
• Support governance, compliance and internal control activities by maintaining robust documentation, supporting schedules and audit trails.
• Assist with accounting projects, business integrations, process transitions and statutory reporting initiatives across the European entity portfolio.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization and automation to enhance reporting quality, efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate effectively with Finance, Tax, Legal, external auditors and external advisors to support statutory reporting and compliance activities.
• Contribute to the development of the European Statutory & Tax Center of Excellence by promoting best practices, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Experience in accounting or reporting
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS or specific local GAAP
• Good system knowledge
• Basic VAT and tax knowledge
• Fluent in English and Polish, both oral and in writing
