Job summary

Molex seeks a Statutory Reporting Controller to support statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit activities and controllership for European entities. You will contribute to high-quality financial compliance while developing expertise across multiple jurisdictions.

The role is part of a European Center of Excellence hosted by Phillips-Medisize Poland, focusing on governance, balance sheet integrity and regulatory filings across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience in accounting or reporting
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS or local GAAP
• Good system knowledge
• Basic VAT and tax knowledge
• Fluent in English and Polish, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review annual statutory financial statements and disclosures according to local requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership of Income Statement and Balance Sheet for entities, ensuring US GAAP and local statutory reporting accuracy.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual US GAAP reporting packages with adherence to policies.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L reviews, investigate variances and identify risks.
• Act as a key contact for US GAAP accounting matters and policy interpretation.
• Support external statutory audits by providing deliverables and addressing auditor requests.
• Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat and other indirect tax filings.
• Provide tax compliance information and supporting documentation for corporate tax returns.
• Support balance sheet substantiation and period-end close activities.
• Assist governance, compliance and internal controls documentation and audits.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation across the European entity portfolio.
