Zusammenfassung

InPost Pay is building its own fintech platform from the ground up, delivering scalable payments capabilities across Europe. The Staff Software Engineer will define technical direction for infrastructure, deployment, and reliability, partnering with security and compliance teams.

You'll lead architecture decisions, establish standards, and mentor engineers to raise the bar for AI-driven, agentic engineering within a hybrid work model, with offices in Poland as preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in software or platform engineering with leadership experience.
• 3+ years building infrastructure for distributed payments or fintech systems.
• Deep expertise in container orchestration, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Cloud architecture experience at scale (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Observability, monitoring, incident response, and SLO design.
• Security and compliance architecture, PCI DSS / PSD2 relevance.
• Experience designing the infrastructure layer of an agentic harness.
• Strong written communication with architectural docs.

Aufgaben

• Define and maintain infrastructure architecture across cloud topology, networking, and deployment pipelines.
• Author ADRs and RFCs for infrastructure decisions with clear trade-offs.
• Evaluate cloud service choices, container orchestration, observability, and cost.
• Own the agentic harness infrastructure layer: CI/CD, sandboxing, guardrails, tooling.
• Drive organization-wide technical change and promote adoption across teams.
• Mentor engineers on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
