Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the DevOps Support at Citi Poland. The role focuses on building a reliable, scalable, and observable infrastructure, leveraging Generative AI and modern SRE practices.

You will design and maintain monitoring, define SLOs/SLIs, and develop automation to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency across mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and pipeline management.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, and AppDynamics.
• Familiarity with OpenShift, Tekton, and Harness pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of Agile concepts and processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions using Grafana, Kibana, and AppDynamics.
• Define SLOs/SLIs for developer pipeline applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Go to streamline operational tasks.
• Focus on projects related to Generative AI and task automation.
• Take ownership of complex problems and collaborate with the team to drive them to resolution.
• Balance proactive solution-seeking with hands-on incident resolution.
• Analyze system logs and metrics to perform root cause analysis of issues.
