Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking an experienced Corporate Actions professional to manage end-to-end events, assess impacts on portfolios, and communicate options to stakeholders. You will collaborate with Portfolio Management, Trading, and Compliance to ensure timely settlements and accurate records.

The role requires 5+ years in corporate actions, strong analytical and communication skills, and a solid understanding of financial markets and regulations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of corporate actions experience.
  • Experience performing quality control activities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of voluntary corporate actions from event announcement through final settlement.
  • Analyze corporate action events and communicate options, deadlines, risks, and participation requirements to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Portfolio Management, Trading, Custodians, Legal, Compliance, Tax, and Operations teams.
  • Review and validate analyses, elections, and processing by others.
  • Maintain accurate event records and ensure systems are updated with latest information.
  • Prepare reports and track key metrics on event status and impacts.

Core Responsibilities
How you will add value
  • You will manage the full lifecycle of voluntary corporate actions, from event announcement through final settlement.
  • You will analyze corporate action events, assess their impact on portfolios, and communicate available options, deadlines, risks, and participation requirements to stakeholders.
  • You will take ownership of complex and high-impact events, coordinating with Portfolio Management, Trading, Custodians, Legal, Compliance, Tax, and Operations teams.
  • You will review and validate analyses, elections, instructions, and processing completed by other team members.
  • You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support event execution and resolve issues.
  • You will maintain accurate event records and ensure internal systems are updated with the latest information.
  • You will prepare reports, track key metrics, and provide updates on event status and impacts.
  • You will ensure activities are completed in accordance with market requirements, regulations, and internal policies.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • You will support testing, automation, and system enhancement initiatives.
Experience

  • 5+ years of corporate actions experience.
  • Experience reviewing work and performing quality control activities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulations.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with Aladdin, IMActions, SimCorp Dimension, and Bloomberg.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Power BI, automation, reporting, or process improvements is preferred.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborative approach and commitment to knowledge sharing.
