Job summary

RedTrack Technologies LTD is seeking a Software Developer to be the first engineer in an AI-first, spec-driven development model. You’ll translate requirements into precise specs and guide AI-assisted implementation with a focus on correctness and scalability.

You will shape how spec-driven engineering operates, review unfamiliar code, and establish reliable backend patterns for production systems while owning critical early decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong backend software engineering experience.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into precise specifications.
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, and production engineering.
• Russian proficiency at a native or C2 level is mandatory for daily communication.
• English sufficient for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Turn product and technical requirements into clear, implementation-ready specifications.
• Identify ambiguity, hidden assumptions, constraints, and risks before implementation.
• Use AI agents to implement solutions with specs, context, and acceptance criteria.
• Review AI-generated and unfamiliar code for correctness and scalability.
• Design reliable backend components and data access patterns for production-scale systems.
• Validate solutions through testing, benchmarking, profiling, and runtime metrics.
• Investigate failures and improve engineering guardrails, tooling, specifications, and AI-agent instructions.
