Redwire Poland is seeking a Thermal Engineer to join our international engineering team. You will focus on spacecraft thermal modelling, analysis, and verification, delivering robust designs for ESA/ECSS projects while collaborating with systems, structural, and mechanical engineers.

Based in Warsaw with a hybrid work model, you will develop TMMs/GMMs, perform ESATAN-TMS/ANSYS analyses, and support thermal test campaigns across Europe and the United States, with occasional travel to support

Formación

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 3+ years in thermal analysis of spacecraft or high-reliability products.
• Hands-on ESATAN-TMS or strong experience with ANSYS Thermal and willingness to develop ESATAN-TMS.
• Experience developing and maintaining Thermal Mathematical Models.
• Strong understanding of conductive, radiative and convective heat transfer in space environments.
• Good written and spoken English; Polish communication is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Thermal Mathematical Models (TMMs) and Geometrical Mathematical Models (GMMs) for spacecraft, subsystems and equipment.
• Perform spacecraft-, subsystem-, and equipment-level thermal analyses using ESATAN-TMS, ANSYS Thermal and related tools.
• Develop and assess modelling approaches for advanced spacecraft structures like sandwich panels and lattice-core structures.
• Perform analyses for hot/cold bounding cases, nominal and contingency modes, and operational scenarios.
• Support thermal design trade-offs, budgets, requirements and interface assessments.
• Prepare thermal predictions for TVAC and Thermal Balance test campaigns.
• Support thermal test execution and correlate models with test results.
• Generate temperature maps and provide inputs for thermo-elastic and structural analyses.
• Prepare reports, model docs and verification evidence for project reviews.
