Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an experienced Sourcing Program Leader to drive de‑risking, dual sourcing, and supplier transitions across our Aerospace, Defense & Marine projects in EMEA. You will lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure adherence to TE policies and compliance.

The role requires 8+ years in Sourcing or related fields, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, and proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, or Continuous Improvement.
• Proven experience leading complex cross‑functional projects in a global, matrix organization.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing processes, including RFQs, supplier evaluation, awarding, and implementation.
• Experience with supplier transitions, dual sourcing, supply continuity, de‑risking, or resilience initiatives.
• Experience working with manufacturing plants, Engineering, Quality, and suppliers, preferably in manufacturing‑intensive Aerospace & Defense.
• Strong project management skills with structured methodologies, governance models, and performance tracking.
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing de‑risking projects from initial scoping through sourcing execution, implementation, and stabilization.
• Partner with Category Managers to define project objectives, priorities, timelines, success criteria, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders to align priorities and ensure focus on the highest‑impact risks and opportunities.
• Lead initiatives such as dual sourcing, re‑sourcing, supplier transfers, capacity expansions, and cost or risk optimization.
• Own assigned sourcing activities end‑to‑end, including stakeholder alignment, RFQ preparation and execution, supplier engagement, evaluation, recommendations, supplier nomination, and implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, risks, mitigation actions, and performance metrics.
• Ensure projects follow TE sourcing policies, governance and approval processes, as well as relevant quality, compliance, safety, ITAR/EAR, and customer requirements.
• Act as the central point of coordination between Category Management, manufacturing plants, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify constraints and execution gaps, and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Track benefits related to risk reduction, supply continuity, capacity, cost, and supplier performance.
• Prepare clear project updates, dashboards, and presentations for business and senior leadership.
• Support Category Managers by taking operational ownership of sourcing and RFQ execution, enabling them to focus on category strategy, supplier relationships, and long‑term roadmaps.

Your Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, or Continuous Improvement
• Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional projects in a global, matrix organization
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing processes, including RFQs, supplier evaluation, awarding, and implementation
• Experience with supplier transitions, dual sourcing, supply continuity, de‑risking, or supply chain resilience initiatives
• Experience working with manufacturing plants, Engineering, Quality, and suppliers, preferably in a manufacturing‑intensive or Aerospace & Defense environment
• Strong project management skills and experience working with structured methodologies, governance models, and performance tracking
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority
• Excellent communication skills in English
