Job summary

DSV in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Requirements Engineer / Business Analyst to shape our global digital portfolio. You will gather requirements, design solutions, and define system specifications, contributing to end-to-end development in an agile setting to deliver MVPs and maximize value.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree with experience in logistics or IT demand management, fluent in Business English, and strong stakeholder collaboration across levels.

Purpose of the job / Overall responsibility

Requirements engineering and solution design for products within our global digital portfolio, definition of solution concepts and system specifications aligned with business, IT and compliance requirements, end-to-end contribution to the development and rollout of digital products, and collaboration in an agile environment to deliver iterative MVPs and maximize product value.

Responibility

• Gathering requirements and providing engineering and solution design for the product
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, and specify (internal/external) customer demands towards our digital portfolio and the respective project scope to determine best solutions
• Determine feasibility and respective solution specifications according to IT and Business guidelines and strategies. Closely align with involved business stakeholders, but also with internal IT development team
• Transfer solutions into production in close collaboration with involved internal teams (development, test and operations)
• Provide vital input into the assessment, design, development, and implementation of digital solutions
• Consult and transfer know-how to internal customers and stakeholders in regards of digital solution processes and portfolio

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Logistics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Ideally multiple years of experience in logistics, Business Analysis or IT Demand Management
• Experience in identifying process improvements and coordinating their implementation
• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, specification and verification
• Excellent understanding on project and application life cycle
• Proven track record in agile product development or general experience in agile methodologies
• Understanding of business and IT processes
• Fluent Business English (written and spoken)
• Strategic mindset with the ability to connect IT goals to business value
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
• Strong facilitation and coaching abilities, fostering a culture of learning and improvement
• Change management capability with empathy for cultural resistance and transformation challenges
• Self-initiative, detailed-oriented with excellent analytical skills
• Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment
• Team player with very good communication skills
