Job summary

Randstad Polska Sp. z o.o. in Kraków seeks a Software Security Engineer (Backend) to design, develop and maintain secure, scalable backend services on Google Cloud Platform. You will drive security, cloud architecture, and engineering excellence while mentoring peers in an Agile environment.

You will work with Python, Node.js, Go, and TypeScript across GKE, Pub/Sub, and Terraform, delivering production-grade solutions with strong emphasis on Zero Trust and authentication flows.

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Security Engineer (Backend) to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend services and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will be instrumental in driving Engineering Excellence across our security platforms, building event-driven architectures, and implementing Zero Trust security models.

What will your tasks involve?

• Design develop and maintain secure backend services and cloudnative applications.
• Drive Engineering Excellence initiatives across Software Security platforms.
• Deliver productionready code and contribute directly to software development activities.
• Build scalable backend services using Python, Nodejs and modern cloudnative technologies.
• Architect solutions on GKE and optimize PostgreSQL performance for highconcurrency environments.
• Build and support eventdriven architectures using PubSub.
• Own the full lifecycle of services on GCP ensuring resilience observability security and cost efficiency.
• Design and manage OAuth2 and OpenID Connect authentication flows.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership across teams.

What we expect from you?
