Job summary

IQVIA Digital in Warsaw is seeking a Software QA Engineer to ensure high-quality software across the SDLC. The role involves analyzing requirements, designing test plans, executing manual and automated tests, and collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and product owners to improve product quality.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in QA, strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, and hands-on experience with API testing, Postman, Swagger, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• Minimum three years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and testing practices
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience creating and executing test plans, cases, scripts, and defect reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and derive comprehensive test cases
• Execute procedures to ensure information systems meet quality standards
• Define and maintain master test plans outlining strategy and schedule
• Execute manual and automated test scripts and document results
• Analyze test results and ensure adequate test coverage
• Conduct risk assessments and document lessons learned
• Read and interpret requirements and technical design documents
• Develop detailed test plans, cases, and testing documentation
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, product owners, and stakeholders
• Communicate testing progress and risks to management and customers
