Job summary

Point72 Asset Management’s Technology team is building real-time treasury and trading support systems using scalable C#/.NET services and APIs with low latency. You’ll partner with traders and operations to translate requirements into production software and mentor a distributed team across the USA, Poland and India.

You will also drive DevOps adoption, build React front-ends, implement automated testing, and contribute to architecture patterns for performance and reliability across global time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a technical/scientific field.
• 8–12 years of OO programming in C#/.NET in a financial domain.
• Working knowledge of React or a modern front-end framework with production experience.
• Significant experience with Microsoft SQL Server including schema design and tuning.
• Experience writing automated tests and unit tests with Test-Driven Development.
• Knowledge of software design, distributed systems, microservices, observability and monitoring, and Docker containerization.
• Experience with DevOps practices and source control/CI tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins.
• Proven production support experience, diagnosing incidents and remediation.
• Experience in distributed teams across USA, Poland, India time zones.
• Strong problem solving, analytical abilities, and communication skills.
• Commitment to high ethical standards.

What you’ll do

• Build high-impact, real‑time treasury and financing systems used across global trading time zones, delivering tools that materially change how desks operate
• Design and implement scalable C#/.NET services and APIs that process trades, financing, and liquidity data with low latency and high reliability
• Partner with traders, funding managers, and operations to gather, refine, and translate business requirements into production software
• Lead the adoption and continuous improvement of DevOps practices within the team, including source control, continuous integration, and automated deployment workflows
• Develop responsive front‑end components using React or another modern front‑end framework to create intuitive internal user experiences
• Implement comprehensive automated testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and test‑driven development workflows
• Operate and support production systems: diagnose and resolve elevated software incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement proactive remediation measures
• Identify, evaluate, and introduce new technologies and architecture patterns to improve performance, reliability, and developer productivity
• Collaborate and mentor as part of a distributed development team across the USA, Poland, and India to scale the platform and grow team capabilities

What’s required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another technical or scientific field
• 8 to 12 years of object‑oriented programming experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem in a financial domain
• Working knowledge of React or another modern front‑end framework with production development experience
• Significant experience working with relational databases, primarily Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design and query tuning
• Demonstrated experience writing automated tests and unit tests and applying Test‑Driven Development practices
• Knowledge of software design and architecture patterns, distributed systems, microservices, observability and monitoring practices, and containerization with Docker
• Experience implementing DevOps practices and using source control and continuous integration tools such as GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins
• Proven experience providing production application support, diagnosing incidents, and implementing remediation and stability improvements
• Experience working as part of a distributed development team across multiple time zones (USA, Poland, India)
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
