Job summary

Akamai is seeking experienced Software Engineers to join our teams across divisions. You will work on a wide range of technical challenges, applying languages like Golang, Python, C/C++, and Java on Linux environments. Docker and Kubernetes experience is valued as you contribute to scalable, secure cloud services.

We are looking for candidates located in Poland or EU countries and open to relocation. You will have opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact through meaningful work on

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or related field
• Proficiency in at least two languages from Golang, Python, C/C++, Java
• Experience with Linux environments
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Familiarity with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Nice-to-have: Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, Angular/TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Work on a range of software development tasks across teams
• Contribute to design and implementation of scalable services
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver high-quality software
• Support and mentor junior engineers as needed

Do what you love

To be successful in software engineering at Akamai, you’ll:

• Have3+ years of experience and knowledge in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrate proficiency in software development (Golang, Python, C/C++, or Java – at least two languages)
• Show experience in working withLinuxenvironment
• Demonstrate experience working with relational and non-relationaldatabases
• Demonstrate containerization or orchestration skills (e.g.,Docker, Kubernetes)

Nice to have: Big Data (Hadoop, Spark), internet protocols, microservices architecture experience, Angular/ TypeScript.
