Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Software Engineer (Kernel) to join a cutting-edge cloud infrastructure migration project. You will work on a virtualization platform at the kernel/driver level on Linux, supporting a migration from Intel to ARM for a high-performance, column-oriented database cloud solution running on AWS.

You will design, implement and maintain features, participate in architecture discussions, and collaborate across teams to ensure performance and reliability.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on ANSI C development and low-level systems programming experience.
• Strong Linux kernel development and POSIX environment knowledge.
• Experience with driver development and Linux internals.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain features for a virtualization platform at kernel/driver level on Linux.
• Contribute to performance-focused, reliable migration from Intel to ARM architecture.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, delivering accurate estimations and proactive risk flags.

As part of the Virtualization team, you will be at the heart of a technically challenging initiative — migrating a high-performance, column-oriented database cloud solution from Intel to ARM architecture.
