Job summary

Volue is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Ancitra team (Trading Development) to build and maintain a domain-rich auction application for power grids. You will contribute to how energy is balanced on future markets and support customers across 40+ countries.

Key responsibilities include developing with .NET 9, implementing RabbitMQ-based messaging, and maintaining Azure infrastructure. English fluency and a willingness to work hybrid two days per week in Gdansk are required.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years mid or 5+ years senior experience in C# backend development.
• Proficiency with ASP.NET Core and WebAPI.
• Strong SQL and ORM knowledge.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems.
• Familiarity with cloud infra (AKS), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Business fluency in English.
• Open to a hybrid work model: 2 days in Volue Gdansk office per week.

The role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Ancitra team (Trading Development). You will help build and maintain a domain-rich auction application for power grids, shaping how energy is balanced on the markets of tomorrow and directly supporting Volue's mission and its customers.

What you need to suceed

• Over 3-4 years (mid) or over 5 years (senior) of commercial experience in C# backend development.
• Proficiency in web application development using ASP.NET Core and WebAPI.
• A solid understanding of SQL databases and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably AKS), CI/CD tools (like GitHub Actions), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Business fluency in English.
• Openness to a hybrid work model: 2 days in Volue Gdansk office per week.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is

• 16 000-20 000 PLN monthly UOP
• 110-140 pln/h B2B

in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
